FOX Sports

Women’s World Cup, College Football


In 2023, for our second campaign for the FIFA Women's World Cup with FOX Sports, our production team immersed itself in the tournament's excitement. Our focus was on national and regional marketing content, driving enthusiasm among soccer followers and celebrating the extraordinary athletes and stories of the Women's World Cup.

Simultaneously, when FOX Sports sought to generate excitement for the 21st college football season, Studio City PXL was their first choice. We were tasked with capturing the thrill of the "in-person" and “in-stadium” experiences, creating school-specific packages for FOX Sports affiliate markets in The Big 10, Pac-12, and The Big 12. Collaborating with FOX Sports, we sourced non-highlight footage from schools, highlighting unique traditions of each institution. The packages, voiced by members of the FOX CFB On-Air Talent team, aimed to engage viewers intensely.

This collaboration led to remarkable success – FOX Sports's broadcast of Ohio State’s victory over Minnesota attracted nearly 6.3 million viewers, marking Fox’s best opening week game ever and surpassing almost all regular season games from the previous season.

The overarching goal of our campaign was to embody the spirit of college football Saturdays, which never sounded so good!

betway

When betway, a leading global online sports betting app, approached Studio City PXL to craft a viral-worthy marketing piece unveiling their latest brand ambassador, tennis legend Andy Roddick, we plunged into the task of creating this launch piece.

Conceived, produced, and executed by Studio City PXL, the 'Andy's Hobbies' spot shines a spotlight on everything the tennis icon has been up to since retiring from the sport as well as his enduring passion for the game and unyielding competitive spirit which remains.

Now Andy’s back in the game as betway’s new global tennis ambassador for their new 'Advantage, Served' initiative, leveraging his insights and experience to provide sports enthusiasts around the world with a distinct "advantage."

SCPXL conceptualized several other pieces of content for this initiative and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Within the first month of its launch, the original content racked up an impressive 20 million views across betway's various social platforms – Talk about a ‘serve’! 

NBC Sports   

IndyCar, Nascar   

Our creative and production team proudly partnered with NBC Sports to provide field production, filming, and directing for the IndyCar series class of 2023. The exciting content we captured appeared throughout the entire 2023 IndyCar season, including marketing, social media, race coverage packages, and more.

In addition to creating multiple spots for air on traditional and streaming platforms, we helped introduce the hilarious social series "TinyCars." Racing legends like Alexander Rossi, Tony Kanaan, and Will Power join host James Hinchcliffe for an adrenaline-pumping experience for race fans – perfect for sharing across all socials.

Moreover, SCPXL maximized our time with the racers, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and even convincing the drivers to showcase their comedic skills in a viral-worthy karaoke content piece and ASMR video. The results have been exceptional, as evidenced by the remarkable growth of the official channels for @IndyCarOnNBC. Since the introduction of our produced content to fans, the official social channels have seen an impressive 16% increase in follower growth, accompanied by a solid 3% engagement rate on Instagram.

LA Kings Insider

LA Kings Insider, the official blog of the LA Kings, serves as a direct line of communication for fans, offering an insider's view into the day-to-day activities of the team. Studio City PXL was awarded the task of relaunching this platform, transforming it into a modern, mobile-friendly destination for users.

The redesigned site was built to accommodate multiple contributors and frequent updates, enhancing the user experience with additional podcasts, video, and audio content. This project not only revitalized the LA Kings Insider but also reinforced the enduring spirit of the Kings among fans.
